Good cleaners been around for 70 yesrs
I was very happy with the service provided. A friendly welcome from the staff at Watermans.I had a lot of garments but one in particular needed to be shortened. The seamstress was efficient, extremely helpful and did my alteration exactly how I wanted it. Very impressive work. I recommend Watermans for all your needs, be it clothes to be dry cleaned, shirts to be ironed, duvets and bed sheets to be laundered, garments to be altered or even curtains to be cleaned.Watermans were closed these last 2 weeks due to their annual summer holiday, a truly deserved break in my opinion. They had a notice up since July stating they would be closed but also every time I went into their shop, the staff would remind me they would be closed on these dates. Again, demonstrating their helpfulness and efficiency by reminding me they would not be open in case I needed any of my items. Just before they closed, I brought them a lot of garments and bed sheets to be cleaned and they managed to do everything within 2 days, which left me extremely happy as I had all the summer clothes I needed cleaned and ready to wear. In my personal opinion, I find Watermans to do a fantastic job each time. I would be lost without them!
It is Saturday 11am, went there but the place is closed. I went somewhere else.
Very disappointed by the shoddy service and persistent attempts to cover up obvious bleaching by botched cleaning. An inadequate refund will never reverse the damage caused to the material by these cleaners. Watermans also caused unacceptable shrinkage. Avoid them completely.
Do not use these cleaners. I was made to pay 150 for my wedding dress to be cleaned prior to cleaning and then I was blamed for the damage they caused without even been offered a fraction of a refund. Very rude and then suggested the fabric was faulty because the "lace probably came from a third world country". I come from a third word country and to say I am insulted is an understatement. Disgusting.
